Hector F. Esquivel, ESQ.
As an original founder of the firm, Hector Esquivel has played a pivotal role in the protection of the legal rights of community members in both the greater Denver, CO metropolitan, and Hilton Head Island, SC and the surrounding areas. He has been an aggressive advocate for immigrants’ rights, in general, and the Hispanic community in particular. His criminal law knowledge has enabled him to efficiently defend the rights of hundreds of clients while also making a name for himself in car accident cases where he has won thousands of cases against car insurance companies.
An alum of the University of South Carolina where he obtained his JD in 1998, Hector obtained a license to practice in the State and Federal Courts of South Carolina, Georgia and Colorado. He spent his first years as an attorney at 2 prominent local firms near his alma mater, after which he dedicated his time and knowledge to creating a law firm that would serve the Jasper and Beaufort counties. In 2001, Jenkins & Esquivel was established. Hector continued to provide legal services of the highest standard through his firm along with a new managing partner, Jose Fuentes. Having been licensed in Colorado, Hector saw a need for quality representation there and has committed to helping individuals in the greater Denver, CO metropolitan area, and environs by opening a new office in the area.
Even though he likes to keep his community-oriented efforts private, he has served on multiple boards throughout his career: The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, Lowcountry Legal Aide, the Latin American Council, the Neighborhood Outreach Connection and more.
Over the years, Hector has built an efficient and professional Spanish-speaking team as well as a loyal customer base. This is all due to his work ethic, sense of responsibility, dedication, and last but not least, his considerable experience.
